side markers?
I just got a new pair of JDM fenders with side markers. I want them to do what the corner lights do. I have searched and there is not really any good advice. I just need to know how to wire them. I have 1 piece tyc headlights.
I just got jdm fenders for my ek and after much searching i found that the side markers are actually side turn signals only. there is no way to hook them up to flash and stay on with the parking lights at the same time. (because the bulb only has one element). your oem corner light has three wires, hook the positive (forget what color) of the side marker to the green wire on your vehicle harness, and the black wire to the black on your harness. If you find a way for the lights to work both ways let us know.

Exactly. Either they are on all the time, or only on when your turn signal is engaged.

Well im about to go to the auto parts store. Im going to see if they have a "dual filament" with 3 wires. If not im going to get some things to do an inline splice and im going to have them stay on. If it comes down to that do you guys think they should stay on with parking lights or blink with turn signals??
they are turn signal lights. should only come on when signal is on. alot cleaner that way to. you can have them when the corner are on though. use a multimeter and see what wire has volts or amps in it at the right time

This the green wire, atleast on EGs. Tap your side marker wire into the green wire and your side markers will come on with your normal turn signals.

Yep. You are correct. Checked it with a multimeter. The parts store didnt have a set up for a bulb with 2 filaments. So... I need to pick constant on or blinker.
