Default Sorta a sad situation

I saw this post at another site, from a long time tech;
"You've heard the expression, "that guy has forgotten more than you'll ever know" Well there is some truth to that, older guys do things by habit because they have forgotten the reason they do it that way. True story here; Somebody asked me why I always shoot compressed air in the spark plug tubes before I change plugs.....I didn't have an answer;[an hour goes by] Then I had a 'flashback' to the day in 1989 when I found a valve bent and the customer complaint was "I changed the plugs and the engine started running bad" hey,something fell in the plug hole!!!!!
That problem will never happen to me, but I'd like to pass on that to the next generation of GOOD techs."

The sad part is the people at this website that try to run off the good techs that post valid info. It just floors me to see dealership, or long term Honda wrenches flamed, slammed, and goaded.
This site, by virtue of name, should be more professional than any other site that bears the Honda name

i see what you mean by that, but in my opinion, id say that even though people do that, if i were asking a question, and some random dude said something, and then someone such as Honda Tech Pro or DesertHonda were to say something, i would definitly look at their opinions above all others. No clue who that guy is pointing to about that, but yeh, that sucks

Lucky for us they can ignore the heat from the critics, and go about the business of helping people with their problems. I applaud them. And wish I had their knowledge, so I could do the same.
