I'm swaping my lude (h23) with a JDM H22A. The h23 is external coil and the JDM H22A came with an internal coil distributor. The H22A's dist. cap is cracked pretty bad but I cant find a replacement at any parts store. Does anyone know of an alternative cap that will fit? Or know if I use the H23 external coil on the H22, if it will work? If so, will it affect the performance?

It should be a 90-93 honda accord 2.2 ltr distributor cap.

 

Tried it, the holes line up but it would be too far away fromt he rotor.

The 93 civic one, I think, will fit. Its the same part number as the 94-00 Integra non vtec. I think it will fit but the actual internal coil that extends into the distributor cap is broken. Im getting into almost just having to replace the whole distributor.

 

I got a dizzy for an H22 if you want to keep your car external coil

i have a jdm h22 type s and used a 92-93 integra gsr dizz cap... the del sol vtec will work as well... yea you can use the h23 distributor on it and run external coil...

 

Yea the H23 dizzy wil work also!

I ALMOST guarantee it is Civic and Intergra not 100% on the exact years
