It doesnt turn over at all??

a couple things you can check...

Turn the car to the ON position and listen for the fuel pump to turn on
Check all fuses (under the hood - fuel pump, injector, etc...)
Check main relay (under dash on driverside)
How much gas is in the car

everything sounds normal, doesnt sound like its dying, it cranks just wont turn over. gas is half full and fuel pump makes noise when key is "on"

when i tried to relieve the pressure by loosening the nut on top of the fuel filter no gas came out so does that mean its my pressure regulator?

if it wouldn't turn over it's ignition switch/battery/connection/starter issue and nothing to do with fuel system... if it turns over but doesn't start then it could be the fuel pump

try push starting it... if it starts and runs it's not your fuel pump for sure

oh i worded it wrong then.. its turning over but its not starting i tried push starting it last night and it didnt do anything. i was wondering if it couldve been the fuel pressure regulator since no gas was coming out of the banjo fitting under the hood when i loosened it(?).. any help or input is appreciated, its my daily driver and gets me to school and work.

Do you hear the pump come on but still no pressure at the banjo bolt? You can check for flow by pulling off the return line after the FPR and attaching a small hose into a bucket.. remember the fuel pump only comes on for a few seconds if the car isn't running.

If there is no flow, I doubt its the FPR. Usually they just get stuck .. wouldn't stop flow completely.. you should have pressure at the fuel rail (or the banjo bolt at the fuel filter).. if not.. its either the pump or the lines from the pump to the fuel filter. Maybe your filter is completely plugged? Lastly.. check to make sure that you actually have gas in the tank.... maybe the sender is messed up.
