Default How to unconnect this wire?

This is from the mirror housing on a 92 accord. I'm trying to swap out the internals of the mirror with some good parts that I just picked up. I have pushed and pulled on this connecter but can't get the wire out. Aren't you supposed to be able to push down a release tab in the case and pop the wires out one by one? The wires on the other end terminate inside the miroes motor case, and that definitely doesn't want to open at all.

most likely you have to push down a very tiny pin in order to release the tab. use a small screwdriver. if you can't do so, you can always cut the wires and reconnect. are you trying to wire the power folding mirrors?

Yea, I'm trying to wire the power mirrors. The assembly that holds the mirror in the housing broke so the mirror and motor are just hanging out. I bought another complete mirror thinking it would be easy to pop open both cases and swap parts, but that damn wires snake through each piece. I'm trying to advoid slicing them up if possible.

If you can give me a picture of the business end of the lower connector (male), I may have a solution; but I have to see it first.
