you take them and put them on a solid surface, then you grab a nice TPX bat, and smash them to smitherines....all right in front of your car so it can see what your doing....and when your done, your car will thank you for not putting those horrible mirrors on it....

come on now we've been over this in countless threads....to each his own...judge not, lest ye be judged....rice tastes good....

seriously though i bought the mirrors because one of my mirrors is cracked and they were at a good price so thought i would give them a shot!
since i got them i've been having second thoughts about buying spoon mirrors but i'm not sure....so until i decide can someone simply explain how to wire these?

dudes stop being such an *** to this person. if you cant be helpful, there's no point in posting.

I've got a pair like this on a show car I built and they arent motorized so you cant wire them to the power mirror wiring. You've basically got two choices. Wire them to your blinks/ parking lights, or you can wire them to a 12v power source like your cigarette lighter with a switch to turn them on and off.

I have my amber and blue wired. Amber is wired to my blinkers and blue to solar panels on top of my sunroof visor, nice and out of sight. I got bored and had a few spare panels lying around.

I've got some of these too (some of the people with the negative comments acted like real ********)

the THICK white, green, and yellow wires are your mirror motor wires, there are white green and yellow wires on the power mirror plug IIRC

if there isnt. use the trial by error method, experiement which wires work when you wire them up, use the power mirror control to see if the wires are correct

as for the leds

i got white and blue led's instead of amber, damn ebay ripped me off

the white wire was for white leds
the blue wire is for blue
the black wire is ground, mnount it to a bare peice of body (i used this brace that had no paint on it in between my door hinges

Got any closeup pics of the avatar?

Anyhoo...OP:
How many wires are in the M3 mirrors and how many wires do you have in your car's harness? Maybe we can get this solved for you.

I'm sure there are bimmer forums around with the wiring and what color does what for your particular model mirrors. Do you have access an electrical guide to your wiring harness in your car?

did ANYONE read this???

i just installed the mirrors on my ej1 like 4 months ago, THATS hows it gonna be

the mirror motor plug wires WILL NOT be the same color as the m3 mirror wires, YOU HAVE TO EXPIREMENT with the 3 wires and see which one moves the correct way

god...

wow, people are still doing this? i'm amazed how someone can really see those and want them on their car. i'd like to personally smack the guy who ever thought about retro fitting M3 mirrors on Hondas.

If you can't answer the question why post. He didn't ask if you liked the mirrors he asked how to wire them. These forums are full of gerkoff's. The mirrors are fine just take a little getting use to, like anything that's all. Well as for me I wire my m3 mirrors to the same splice where my alarm was connected which is in the bottom left corner of the drivers side under the carpet. That's usually where they splice all alarms. You just have to lengthen the passenger side wires and run them under the dash to the drivers side and make your connection.
