Default Poor Acceleration

99 automatic EX civic. when accelerating from a light or getting back on the gas when car is coasting, car begins to stutter/buckle like its about to die. but then after the little stutter it takes off fine. happens rarely, but enough to be anouying only mod is a cold air intake.
Any one know what the problem could be?

Try cleaning out your injectors.

possibly fuel/spark related.. but i remember having hesitation problems on my 98 accord automatic and when I cleaned up the tranny ground it fixed the hesitation... just something to think about...

Run a hot diagnosis on your primary O2 and see if it's slow to respond. Could also be a clogged fuel filter (not likely). Have you ever had the injectors serviced?
