Default To all you guys with custom exhaust, how did you guys go about getting it to be super quiet?

I plan to run 2.5 inch piping to a ES oval muffler. Now im thinking and tryign to decide which would be the best combo of resonators or maybe just one resonator mated to that ES oval muffler. Have any of you guys ran 2 resonators? Any input on that? Or maybe just one with a ES oval? Again any input on that also? What size resonators? Keep in mind i will run my car with a test pipe.

es muffler is fine, or u could go magnaflow for less. then put in the longest resonator u can fit & dont run a test pipe. it will be quiet.

i have k teller 2.5" with the longest resonator they provide to a vibrant flat black 2.5 straight through muffler. it was quiet, then after a month of not driving it got louder. but still pretty quiet. you can still hear my engine when i wot but it resonates in the cabin pretty loud at high rpms, but from the outside its quiet.

Dynomax and a long resonator. Quiet and mellow till about 5000, quiet for about a 1k rpm, and then nothing but VTEC after x-over. All engine, no exhaust

before i had a cat, i had 2 resonators. one was made up to bolt up to the header like the cat would & the other was in the exhaust piping & then a muffler. sounded fine & flows fine.
