Default What wiring harness and ECU?

I have a 99 Civic Cx and I will be putting a 95 GSR in it.
I have the GSR harness with a chipped P28 and the CX harness with its ECU.

What harness and ECU do I need?

Do I need another Harness like a 99EX harness? Will I need obd2 to obd1 conversion adapter for the ECU?

Confused!

Use your cx harness and get a jumper to use the chipped p28 or a p72

you will have to wire in vtec and iab. if you are using the stock intake manifold you will need to use a p72 ecu to control the iab. if using the p28 you will need a skunk2 manifold or some sort and would not have to wire the iab. i'm not sure about your o2 sensor you'll have to search, the 92-95 cx uses a 1 wire sensor and you have to wire in the 4 wire. Also you can use either your stock injectors so the obd2 plugs go in. or wire obd1 injector plugs and use obd1 injectors. You might have to wire an obd1 alternator plug on the harness also so that plugs in. Also the distributor will need rewired. And finally a knock sensor, i'm not sure if your car has one stock, if not..wire it in unless your chipped p28 has it disabled. I think thats about it if i'm wrong anywhere someone correct me please. good luck

I do have a S2 intake manny. So, this looks like wiring HELL! The p28 I think has the Knock Sensor disabled. My GSR was running a 4 wire O2 sensor so that should be ok. I didn't think about the injectors...... and I wasn't sure about the distributor and altenator.

-Could I just use the Altenator from the 99cx?
-How will the stock injectors on the civic perform on the b18c1?
-Will there be enough gas injected?

The 99cx is stock and in one piece and the GSR motor is going to be rebuilt and I have the GSR shell as well. If there is anything else I could use or swap out please feel free to let me know. Thanks for the input guys.

.......Well, It took a bit of searching but I found my answer to the injectors. The CX are 190cc and the GSR are 240cc so the CX obd 2 is not a going to work. I also compared part # to the Civic CX and Civic Si and they are not the same hence they would not yeild the same injector size.............looks like wiring the damn injectors is in my future. Or some one could trade me obd 2 b series injectors for my obd1 injectros

yeah its not too bad but it sucks, mine was sweet plug and play cuz of obd1. the alternater probly wont fit but its easy to rewire the stuff. you said you had the gsr harness so thats all you need. there should be the same amount and color wires for the alternator, and the injector plugs would be easy too just match the colors and use the gsr injectors.

So, I have to use the GSR wiring harness? I thought I had to use the CX harness.
