Default D16Y7 OBD1 questions??

so im piecing together a sohc swap and turbo kit for my 95 cx, I will be buying a y7 w/ harness but no ecu . I want to stay obd1 so i can chip my ecu and run uberdata, can I use the cx ecu and wiring harness? If im using the cx harness do i need to change anything? ( The car currently has a one wire o2 sensor) if I use the y7 harness can I stay obd1 without having to buy an adapter harness to the ecu?
I have searched and came up with one post that had any info saying I could use the cx harness but to keep the cx intake mani, well the y7 already has a different manifold on it, although I'm not sure which one but its definitely not a stock y7 intake manifold

what i would do is:

run the y7 with ur stock existing harness and computer and dont use a stock y7 intake manifold cause they have no place for iacv

im not sure if u can get the obd2 distributor to work on it, u can just use ur stock one tho.

dont use the y7 injectors cause they are not programmed for ur po6 ecu that i assume u have in ur car,

thats all i have to offer good luck!

great info thanks, the y7 already has a normal(non vertical tb) intake mani on it but I have only seen pictures of it so i dont know what mani it is, but it should have
iacv

you cant use a obd2 wire harness in a obd1 car

the CX harness will work but i belive its 1 wire o2, you could always get a dx/ex harness of 92-95

yeah I know, i thought I might end up having to get a conversion harness, but I guess not. What difference does the o2 make if I use the stock cx harnes and o2? any?

CX ecu reads 1 wire, all others besides HX read 4 wire
so if you want a 5k redline use the cx ecu with the cx harness
it say find a p06 and change the wire harness to 4 wire o2

well Im going to be socketing and chipping the ecu so the o2 and rev limit wont matter right?
