Default What is this line?

Took the motor and tranny out for rebuild, and decided to go ahead and paint the car. I'm trying to figure out what this line is. It is the one marked "unknown". It runs together with the fuel and fuel return.... I'm thinking its a breather of some sort, but not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

After a quick peek in my Helms I say it's the "Fuel Vapor Pipe".

Was it connected to the EVAP canister?

Yes sir. I am not planning on putting the canister back in, will it be ok to just let it vent?

I believe you will throw a CEL if you don't have proper vacuum pressure in your fuel lines.

If you are still running an OBD2 ECU, you will get a CEL and a code 1456 or 1457.
