GReddy/Revhard Turbo Kit?
I honestly dont know which one I would prefer.
Right now they are currently priced at:
GReddy~ $2783 SHIPPED w/Intercooler
Revhard Stage2~ $2550 SHIPPED
Here's the deal, as everyone know's my tranny is auto. I dont particularly want a 5 speed so dont tell me to do the swap because im not going too. I daily drive my car & I want the most reliable setup I can get. As far as im concerned, I see the GReddy as more reliable. After countless hours of research, it seems that no one seems to pop there motors with the GReddy, rather than the FMU setup that the Revhard is supplied with. With the 5 speed swap OUT of the question; sticking with the auto, it is a very weak transmission under higher power. I have read that the tranny will support up too 200 WHP, & with the GReddy, it would be right under that, while the revhard will be upwards of 220-240.
I personally have my eyes set on the GReddy kit, but others keep telling me to go with a Revhard or Drag kit to make more power...but I cant handle anymore power with what I have. Im not looking to run 11's or something like that, im not looking to race really period. I just want some extra 'passing power' persay, & go for an 'all-show' effect. Most of all, it would be fun! Anyhow, post your opinions.
Surprised
P.S. No im not going with a supercharger or all motor BS. Its one of the two options above if im doing anything.

i say you should just get some bolt on's for ur car. if not happy then get some cams. you'll have some "passing power" dont ditch out 2 g's and then your tranny might go and fork out more money.

he doesnt want NA bolt ons
anyways i say go with the greddy since it puts you in your power goals and you want yout tranny to hold up. the revhard is a decent kit but bigger turbos mean more power. the 18g will probably spool better too.
like someone else mentioned with either kit ditch the fmu and get something like hondata or uberdata. kinda sucks cause you pay for a kit and then have to get rid of some of the components. you might be better off piecing a greddy kit together and their intercoolers are expensive, look into johnnyracecar or something like that

I dont really want a used kit. And what's so bad about the emanage? It is tuneable a bit, but I would rather just leave it the way GReddy through it together.
I want to keep my a/c & power steering as well. Im VERY picky about my car & the parts as well. Piecing together a kit is not an option either. Its one of the two mentioned. Thank you anyhow.

well i still say go with the greddy even if you would prefer to buy it brand new. if you really wanna use the e-manage the thats ok i guess i think most people just frown on it because there are so many other options for hondas that offer more tuning capabilities. at least its better than the safc.
i still think you could save some money by not using the greddy intercooler and looking into some alternates. but hey its your car you do what you want. if it works for you then who cares what we have to say.
