I bought the car with GC on them already, dont know how long they've been on. Since winter is coming i wanted to raise the car up a tad. But i cant seem to get 3 of the 4 lock screws on the bottom perch to budge. Any suggestions??? I tried to use WD-40 and let it sit but there isnt much space for it to penetrate and loosen. Probly dumb question, but the lock nut is still righty tighty lefty lucie right?? Lol, just makin sure its not a special situation screw.

You need to find a bar that will fit the adjustment wrench's end. Hopefully you have two of them. Position the coilover so that you can wedge one of the wrenches in between the lock nut and the frame of the car, so that its snug. Then take your other wrench and fit it onto the lock nut, using the bar you found for torque. I'm not sure if we're on the same page here, but if we are, that's how I adjust my Skunk2 coilovers when they've been corroded for a while.

 

Whoa, I've got the same problem. Trying to raise the ride for winter too. Bent a few allen wrenches and threaded the d@mn screw.

i actually do understand what you are saying, but these are GC and have an allen wrench screw that tightens to hold on bottom perch. Not like the Skunk2's that have two bottom perches that tighten against each other to stay.
