Default Calling Turbo Gurus! Need opinions on this kit. Plz look.

Heres the deal. I have a b16a1 powered EF hatch that i've been wanting to boost for some time now, but just havent done it for lack of funds. I work for the company that worked on the Edelbrock booth for SEMA (which is going on as you read this) so i have the opportunity to purchase one of their turbo kits for something rediculous like 50% off street price..not retail. The problem is that this kit was designed for the 99-up si civics with the B16a2. I know a few things wont be a bolt on affair such as the guage pod and charge piping, but that doesnt concern me because i know they can be modified to work somewhat easily. What concerns me the most is the engine management that comes with this kit. I know nothing about it or what it consists of. I plan on doing the obd1 conversion prior to installing this kit and probably getting it crome tuned.
Im new to the turbo world and dont really know if this is a good a deal as it seems. The kit comes with mostly everything needed including aftermarket intake mani, fuel rail and bov. I know it is internally gated at a conservative 6-7 psi, but with stock internals i wasnt planning on boosting more than that anyways. My power goals are somewhere between 230-250 whp (using additional bolt ons). Is this a realistic goal with this kit? Please click on the link to see all the specs on the kit and let me know what your opinion on it is. Is it a bad idea to modify this kit to make it work for my EF or am i better off building a kit myself? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The 99-00 civic is obdIIb so changing your non obd car to obd 1 won't make a difference unless you ditch there fm all together. And changing your 88-91 to obd II seems kinda like it would be a big hassle for something like that.
