395 whp stock motor gsr
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hey i just stepped off the dyno tonight, and made 395 whp on my buddies stock bottom end gsr motor.
we are running a type r head with some kick *** turbo cams. this setup is really simple, and i am very impressed personally with the results.
i'll post the dyno charts and mod list later when i get back to the apartment.
you don't have to spend tons of money to make good power and run fast times.
we've already run 10's in this car with the same motor.
after this event on the weekend, we are going to push the stock motor even farther. I wanna get st00pid

What turbo? and what psi?
I wonder just how long this is going to last, if you don't push the limits of the stock block and blow it up..?

Re: (RTErnie)
1.8 stock gsr bottom end, stock pistons, stock rods, stock sleeves
type r head, blox turbo cams, no cam gears, blox intake manifold
blox turbo manifold, 40 mm tial bov, SC61 S cover, open exhaust
Speed Pro Engine Management, 850 cc injectors, MSD digital 6
Tuned by me
1.3 bar C-16
Theres definately more left inside the motor. the tune is very conservative. you know what they say... you gotta finish a race to win a race. plus its kinda pointless to waste the motor on the dyno just to see a print out on a computer. i'd rather see the car run at the track.
good job to the guys at N1 motors (Norm, Johnny, Ryan) for building such a solid setup. just goes to show you don't need to spend big bucks to go fast.
