oil filters

Default oil filters

i have a d16y8, i got to the local mejier or w.e store to get an oil filter and there a lil puny thing, any one find 1 that is bigger taht fits up to filter more oil???

the factory filters are littler now also, you can try an AC Delco filter on it it may be as big as the filters of old, but me, i am a proponent of o.e. filters. thats all i will use.

I work for an oil change company in my spare time and not once in my life - at work or in the performance community - have I seen a well-maintained filter (changed every 3k miles) cause an engine any trouble. You can run the shittiest *** filter you can buy, so long as you change it regularly and you'll be straight.

i rock the regular fram filters and have had not one bit of problem on my y8, its a daily driver and i stretch oil changes to 4k and its fairly black but nothing to worry about. at just over 2 bucks a pop they work great for the money IMO.

You can run a S2000 filter in ur engine. They're hard to come by, but they're bigger.

Napa Gold and Purolator are the best filters. Fram is absolute crap.

how are they hard to come by? cant you just buy them at the dealer

they're all the same oil filter made by WIX in the USA
