Im pretty sure its the smaller harness that is inside that green rubber boot (orange and green wires). All the ones ive worked on there is only one small connector. Thats why im not 100% sure, maybe some one can confirm.

All you need to do is jumper it (connect both wires) and it should show you the codes on the dash using the check engine light

take the one with the brown wire in it, and jump it with a pin or something, or cut the connector off and just put those wires together, turn the key to accessories and bam blink blink blink and if it stays on, u have no codes!, and then try doin it with the car on, maybe it'll pick up other ****.

the other blue plug is to set base timming, when checking ur timing with a lgiht

What cables are you talking about?

Does the check engine light even turn on when you first turn the ignition to the "on" position?

If so, try grounding D4 on the ECU connectors. It does the same as looping the service connector, but directly.

The other connector is for data, do not loop it.

that is the check engine light jumper on the left.

when you jumper it what happens?
is the check engine light turning off or does it stay solid?

i have the same prob. i jump the wires and no codes come out. i ground the ecu and still no codes still. the check engine light stays solid. w/o the wires jumped i turn the car to on the check engine light comes on than turns off then like 3 seconds later it comes on and stays on. wtf. should i buy an obd 1 reader. i dont want to because there a lot of money to only need once.
