Default 92' H22A Civic Springs/Coilovers Suggestions

I notice that when I hit about 70MPH in my civic the front end seems to shake, the funny thing is it only does it when I give it about 3/4 throttle or more. But anytime before 65-70mph it doesn't shake what so ever? I thought that maybe it needed tire balancing and a front end alignment, but it still shook. So I'm thinking now it could be the shocks that are the problem. Right now I have Shitty Dropzone springs on my car(I bought the car with them, lol). Does anyone have any suggestions?!

I have slightly cut springs with new shocks and I dont have that problem. I have a H22 in a 95 hatch. Im putting Tokico Illuminas with 1.5 lowering springs, I think that will work out pretty decently.

Hmmm.... I'm thinking about getting the new coilovers from apexi (N1 Damper ExV (Expert Type V). they're pretty nice looking. I just hope that it isn't an axle problem. I don't want to end up buying a new coilover kit and still have the same problem!?

I had pain in the *** axles too! I bought swap ones only to have to use an old swap axle that came with the motor and one of the new ones rebuilt with an 93 Integra outer shaft. I like Apex'i products, but I dont have very much $ to spend on springs...

Hey V4lu3s,

you where close, I figured out the problem. I didn't pay attention when I took the motor out, but it was the outer cv joint on the left side! I had to use a hammer to break it loose, and after that it took alot of strength to move the joint around. Since I need a new axle (they are Hasport by the way), Where can I buy just one Axle. The Hasport site only sells them in pairs? I don't think I'm going to try to rebuilt it, I think it will just be a waste of money.

thanks for saving me some work later on v4lu3s.
