Search here, I'm sure theres tons of info. I'm pretty sure the front end is the same in a ek hatch as a coupe.

-btw, how the hell did you get inside an icerink?

i am very concern about the oil pan hanging way low --- this made me think of the downs i will be faceing is it too low lower than the h22 would it get hit is thier a diffrent oil pan i can use

what are problems people are having with the k20 swap ej8 96-98 or the whole ek series.....?

The pan isn't that bad of an issue if you keep it on the forefront of your mind when driving and if your car isn't super low. Plus you can switch over to a K20A3 (civic Si) steel oil pan which won't crack like a K20A oil pan will if you bottom out hard enough.

The only problems I think are just the oil pan, maybe axles (if you don't go the OEM axle route), and smogging. Driveability is no different than a B-series engine.

im started doin the swap to my coupe last week.. if you want better ground clearence use the ekk2 mounts but you have to use an eg subframe, steering rack and lower control arms.. it mounts the motor higher and closer to the fire wall then the ekk1 kit... if you need anythign else let me know i should be able to help you out if i'll piont you in the right direction
