my bros gf has a 95 coupe and my other buddy has a 94 hb both of the cars have a short ram intake . but the suckin noise is so loud goin threw the cone its so annoying is there any way to stop it or make it not so loud .... if anyone has any info id appreciate it . * i never had this problem on any other hondas it seems to be just the 92-95 civics

you know mine was the same..but instead when i drive and let go off the gas pedel the noise sound like a b.ov. sounds cool though..but may be you need to cover all the holes in your short ram.

 

Intakes are going to make that noise, it's completely normal. If you want to remedy this, try putting your stock airbox back in, or get a Comptech Icebox setup.

 

mine sounds like a BOV when i let off gas too,

they are just loud in general, in fact, i cant say ive ever seen a car with a ram intake that wasnt loud

 

use the stock airbox with a K&N drop in with the cover cut off and the plastic pipe replaced with a hard pipe...thats what I had until I went turbo
