Default OT: Turbo the 86 Crown Vic!?!?!

Mods - if this is the wrong forum, please move it. Thanks

Well, I always wanted a 302. I picked one up attached to an 86 Crown Vic, 4spd AOD, 2.73 open diff, with 47k on it for $150. I just had to replace the upper intake mani gasket and put a dizzy in it. $40 and a good 5.0 buddy later and I drove the tank down the street yesterday. Biggest car I have EVER driven, a bit larger than the hatch
So I am a little odd, and have this notion that I want to put a couple turbos on it and be happy with a 14sec pass with a 4500 lb car going woosh I will be putting a set of ported E7 heads (mustang HO heads), a spool out back, and a tranny cooler. other than that all stock. I will be flipping the stock manifolds upside down and welding flanges for the turbos. I have two dsm side mounts already, BOV, and all sorts of piping. still looking for two t25s or the like
My real question is the fuel management on this. It has a MAP sensor which i found strange. I have worthless 19lb injectors now, and was thinking like 36 or 42 lb. But how to control them and the MAP, I was thinking check valves for the MAP and an FMU with some larger injectors.
My buddy has a friend with a turbo 5.0, that used a WOT activated nitrous plate (- n2o) that would just dump fuel at WOT, but I am worried about partial throttle, which is why i was think an FMU might work.
and im not really worried about timing, ill just pull it at base timing, and will only be running of stock internal gates
Any idea or suggestions is GREATLY appreciated
Thanks
Burke

ps - i am on a major budget (hence stock gears, tranny, stock manis, dsm sidemounts), so please dont say get motec or fast or AEM.

If you're on a major budget, leave the car the way it is. I don't think the twin t25 gonna cut it with the 302. Get yourself a 100 shot of nitrous and be happy.

well its not super major, i just cant afford a $1200 standalone. for the price of a nitrous kit, i can finish the turbo set-up. I have seen 2 t-25's on a 5.0 HO in a foxbody at 8psi run a 12.5 or so.
and i have had n2o, its no fun. well correction, its fun for about 10 seconds at time. and for the cost of the kit, and filling the bottle up will cost me more by the end of next summer than the whole turbo kit.

ask him what he uses for fuel management. this seems to be the perfect guideline for what your trying to achieve.

Read all the stickies in engine management and DIY turbo

I am surprised the car uses MAP. I thought ford used MAF? Do the car have EDIS ignition?

Have you considered Megasquirt?

i thought this had a maf too, but there is a map siting on the fire wall and no MAF. EDIS, i dunno what that means _ something, something, individual spark??
megasquirt is pretty neat, i am looking into it

The MAP is worthless. Convert it to MAF with parts from an 88+ mustang or go carb. I have a semi JY TT setup on my fox body using a pair of XSpower turbos, flipped BBK shorty headers, a weiand xcelerator, home prepped 750 holley, stock T75, OBX intercooler, and a lot of boost.
