turbo question....
ok me and my friend are having one of those dumbass debates about cars and again, and he swears on all the super street issues that you can put a turbo on a SOHC motor. but just the turbo, intercooler & piping, bov, and an intake, with no electronics what so ever. so can somebody plz go into detail for this boy and tell him that it wont work or atleast wont run right w/ out a turbo timer or something . sorry if i wasted your time but hes pissin me off.... plus we have 20 bucks on this bet . TIA

Re: turbo question.... (Squallie)
This is a dumbass thread, you should read up and learn about turbos and how everythig works so in every debate you'll win or have something debatable .
In any case he is right. You technically don't need any electronics. You can get away with an FMU, check valves, inline fuel-pump and all the other suff you mentioned. You don't need a turbo timer (if you had any clue what it was) .
Although this isn't the best setup it has worked for many people and requires no messing with the ECU and no tuning.
You lose
