Have you dyno'd it yet? I'm thinking cam timing or ignition timing.

check your vacuum hoses and TPS sensor. I've seen them need adjusting without throwing a #7 CEL.

well when i got the car. some vacuum lines where pluged off. so how do you think i shoud go about this. spmotor sports put a new h23 back init and they just hooked the old hoses back up.thats when the car start to do this.what should i do with the extra hoses that are cut off? the car ac was taken out and theres no cruise contol anymore or window wash pump.does that make a differnt?i took it to wilde honda and they couldnt fix it. they adjusted the idle but that didnt do anything. it started reving again about an hour later thanks

they should have capped off the vacuum line running to the cruise control on the manifold, if you have an open vacuum line, your car wont run, it'll rev up and down and eventually die. You might want to check the IACV also for carbon deposits, take the valve off and check the screen, if its covered in carbon, get some simple green and hose it down.

Id first check to make sure there are no open vacuum sources first.
