Default Mini-ME! in progress

ok im doing a mini me and i have all the parts i need. tell me if im missing ne thing or give me some advice..

setup: d16y7 block-d16z6 head/manifold

parts i have:

v-tec solinoid
copper head gasket
intake manifold gasket
z6 throttle cabble
96 ex ecu
oil/filter
coolant

do i need new headbolts?
is this set up even worth it?

you do need new headbolts unless you are already running ARP bolts. OEM bolts are one time use only

to many people it's worth it. to me, considering all that work you have to do, i would save my money and put all that work and money into a swap.

yes i am "seriously." hahaha, but yes, if you re-use oem head bolts, they tend not to thread in as good and in some cases stretch a little

i think imma use brand new oem bolts..kinda low on money and i want to get this minime this week end..tired of running w/out VTEC

brand new oem bolts are more expensive

yes z6 solinoid will work on y8

DAmm, im gonna end up spending $400 for thsi mini-me, i might as well save up for turbo or a swap
