I want to convert to rear disc brakes and was wondering how big of a difference i'm going to notice under hard braking conditions? But what parts are needed? i'm assuming i could just use parts from an integra or si?

Braking system upgrades will only help you utilize more of the grip of your tires when stopping. Keep in mind that there is a difference between braking performance and stopping performance. What good will any braking upgrades be if your tires can't handle it, KWIM? If you already have really good tires, then either a big brake upgrade and/or drum/disc swap might be a logical progression.

But the OEM rear disc rotors are not that big, and you might be just as well off with really sticky tires and drums as with semi-sticky tires and discs... the drum brakes aren't that bad compared to the small OEM rear rotors.

Of course, disc brakes LOOK cooler, especially when you can see the glow through your wheels... a reason in itself to do it.

But I think it's best to start from the ground up... that's just me...
