i have several busted trannys and i have the options of choosing whatever gears i want, i'm going to be pieceing one together soon to use in my SOHC tinker project

JDM DOHC ZC cable
1992-1995 civic cx/vx tranny
1996-2000 civic cx tranny
1992-1996 civic ex tranny

i was planning on using the ex gears with the zc 3rd and 4th and the 0.702 cx 5th gear (for highway) along with the ex 4.25 final drive

i have several options for my second gear ratio
1.900 (civic ex) (61mph)
1.782 (96-00 civic cx) (65mph)
1.761 (92-95 civic cx/vx) (66mph)

with my tire and redline setup i could have my 2nd gear ending at 61, 65, or 66

i'd like to eventually autocross this car but 99% of the time i'm just going to be daily driving in it

please give a reason to why you chose what you chose
