My GFs accord is having a no start problem. The car has no mods and it’s a 96 with 83k on it. The car has a alarm on some sort with remote start. Problem just appeared out of nowhere few days ago. I tried to jump start it to no avail. Battery is only 6months old so I figured starter was bad. I took the starter out got it tested at AutoZone which turn out it was fine. The guy at AutoZone that tested it was a dick so I just took it home and put it back in and still no start. I ripped it back out and replaced it with a bran new one and it fired right up.

I took it around the block a few times go back **** it off went and had a bear. My GF hops in it to head off to the gym and the damn thing wouldn’t start. I messed with it for about and hours then gave up. While sitting in my living room my GF decides to try the remote start which works. So the car drives fine and starts fine but will only start with the remote start. She takes it to work the next few days.

Finally on Sunday I decided to figure out if it’s the alarm causing the problem. I pull the fuse in the alarm and it still won’t start. I replaced the battery terminals because they were all corroded. Then I put the batter back in and now it wont start with the key or with the remote start. Can anyone tell me what’s up with this car please?
