Default Where Do I Get an Air Dam and Splitter for the R?

I am looking to ad an air dam and splitter to the R for next year - but I'm not sure who makes them or where I can find one. I'd rather not make one myself, but it may come to that...

Does anybody know who makes a good air dam and splitter for the ITR and where I can get it? While searching I found this (which looks awesome) but it was two years ago and I doubt he is still making them...

Last time I sent that guy an email (which was about 3 years ago), he said he would still make them.

Coul you make that out of some 6 mm mdf and paint it ?

Or even possibly get a sheet of plexiglass and cut that and paint it ?

There's no current app (or maybe they haven't updated) here:
http://www.roadracegear.com/

But they might have something already developed.

That particular splitter on the 98 front clip makes me wanna update my '97 nose just to run it....

I'm so rice....so rice.....

I've already e-mailed them a few weeks back and they do not have an application for the ITR...

Those look like ducts I'll be fabbing up for the race car. Though I think I'll be making them out of CF.

Talk to Phil Phillips of Phil's Tire. You would have to remove the ITR front lip to use the one he mentioned.

Funny to see that thread...

I sold Adam that exact air splitter, so I'm assuming he just made a mold from it and was going to make more.

It was fibreglass...very brittle.

For the sake of simplicity, take an R (WingWest, Comptech, they're all the same...) low front airdam piece and some garden edgeing - rivet/screw/whatever in place.

It's easily replacable, a custom fit, and a million times cheaper.

i don't know how much money your willing to spend but, i i think if you sent the right person at RTR an email they could make one, or put you in contact with who ever made the one they used.

Make sure that you add some sort of bracing, maybe small shelf angles or something. I didn't add bracing and the garden edgeing just folding under at speed.
