Those are T1R. Not Type One in Japan. If you want Type One just buy Spoon which is the same thing. O and Type One is where Spoon keep all their race cars and stuff.

Type One is a Japanese company closely associated with Ichishima and Spoon Sports.
T1 R is a company formed by the kids at A&J Racing to produce quality parts cheaply while at the same time trying to vaguely capitalise on the "Type One" association with Spoon.

Does this seem in the least bit derogatory or condescending to anyone else?
And, for the record, I haven't bought a single part or spoken the the gentlemen at that vaulted establishment.
George, maybe that's what "Mr. Spoon"and yourself call them?

Actually Type One is Spoon's retail store/shop located 15 minutes by foot from the home office. They are essentially one and the same.

Isn't there a line of products that is labelled Type One instead of Spoon?

Calm down man, dang. He is correct and yes, while it was smart on their part to use that name, they are using the confusion between the two companies to their advantage to make money. Nothing wrong with the parts, Mike at IPS loves their B-pipes and I plan on getting one soon.

When I was in Type One, the only Type One products I saw were stickers and handkerchiefs! However, all the car parts for sale were Spoon brand parts.
