can anyone tell me if this is a type r header or not? or maybe tell me how i can find out? i just found it in my garage.

That's not a type R header, do a search and you will find out why it is not...

Type R headers aren't 2 piece. (except the stock USDM bullshit exhaust manifold)

Quick Q: is a civic type R header the same LENGTH as a usdm B series header?

like for example if i wanted to Put Civic type R exhaust on a usdm civic hatch it would work length wise?

i believe you have to modify your exhaust a bit if your running a cat. converter. and the diameter is the same to the stock exhaust I THINK. dont quote me on that.

nope not a type r don't have the heatshield things and its 2 pieces look like you have 4-2-1 not 4-1
