The actuator is operated by a direct-acting single-solenoid. No boost pressure is pressing on the actuator, therefore no premature boost loss can occur. The EBCS allows a much lower wastegate duty cycle to produce higher boost levels giving tuners more headroom when modifying high-horsepower vehicles. A built in, non locking, manual override allows tuners to physically test the boost controller. The EBCS will work as a replacement solenoid for all popular electronic boost controllers. Designed to handle up to 120psi, the EBCS features aluminum and glass reinforced nylon construction including 425degree (temp) fittings and vacuum hoses for high-heat resistance. This is a universal product for factory-turbocarged vehicles.
