i am currently making a minime swap in my ef hatchback and i am totally lost on what i need as well as what i need to do to wire vtec into my ECU. i've never wired anything on a motor, so if anyone can help please do. thanks

 

I know I'm not really the one who has the right to say this, but do a search. also what is your car, SI, DX?

 

my car is a dx.

 

you need a conversion harness for the ecu (odb0 to obd1) the harness has the 6 extra leads you need from the engine bay

I made my own harness buti heard the ones from rywire are very good, check them out

after that you pretty much just run the wires from the engine bay thru a hole to your ecu.

the wires are as follows:

2 wires from the odb1 distributor
1 wire from the vtec solenoid
1 wire from the odb1 EACV
1 wire from the vtec pressure switch

and not sure if u need this, but i did.

the org/blk lead from a 4wire O2 sensor
