Default Turbonetics T72 and Racegate with custom cover....

I would like to know what this turbo will work best on as far as the Honda motors go. I picked it up in a trade with another member on DSMtuners. The exhaust housing is a .58 and the wastegate has a 9lb. spring in it. Any help would be appreciated guys. Also, anyone running this turbo, and what are your opinions of it? Thanks.

Its gonna be a laggy bitch on almost all our motors.

Id recommend a 2.0litre+ b or k series. With the right motor and turbo setup, it can prolly put down some series power (700whp+).

A T72 with an AR.58 exhaust housing sounds really awkward. Which exhaust blade. A B18C or larger Honda will spool the beast but you will probably only have about 1k rpms of useable power.

The guy I bought it from said that he was going to put it on his 2.0L 4G63, and turbonetics expected spool to be around 6K without the N2O. So I figure 6500-6800 on a 1.8 with a good port job, etc. If you used nitrous to spool it, I am sure it would come on around 5000-5800, which would give some of these motor a decent powerband. And the turbo is rated at 700 whp with that housing. I just need to sell it, so I am trying to give whoever wants it, a good estimate. Keep the info./opinions coming guys, thanks.

or possibly a mustang owner...although the .58 a/r would possibly choke on a storker or larger windsor

You can order a .82 exhaust side with 3" v-band for around $220 from Summit, then it will work very well on a V8. I am thinking of just putting it on my WS6, the motor is almost done. Gotta like a V8 that revs 9500 all day!
