i had this conversation on friday night with my cousin who decidedto go lsvtec turbo with a b16 head. at first, he couldn't believe me. then on saturday, came on honda-tech. search'd and found ppl's posts and dyno sheets. then he believes me that the gsr cams out perform. pssh. hahaha. now he has to convince his other cousin. lol

ya there were a couple of threads on this before, but on the stock B16 cams i made 235whp and like 140ish trq at 10psi, went to GSR cams and adj. cam gears and put down 290whp and 200 trq. at 9.5 psi

the b17 cams are the same as b16. So no there's no point in swapping to b17 cams.
As for the CTR cams...i've heard mixed reports. I've seen dyno sheets showing decent HP gains over GSR cams...many thing the exhaust cam has too much duration though.
Personally, I think a CTR intake cam and GSR exhaust cam would be an awesome combo for boost.

i've always had gsr cams..loved them..I came across a set of 97 its cams and was phsyced about those, then i found out the 01 itrs were actually much better for turbo app...so now i have those and just waiting to see how they compare
