I've installed a short shifter one week ago... and it did make a good difference.
Now, I am going to cut a piece of the handle, and weld it back shorten........ that should make it "shorter short shifter"...
Anyway... ...the little piece that gives you short shifts is always nice... ...don't fall for those 50% to 60% less throw..... ....because they only give you 25% to 40% less throw... depending on the shape of the item!

for the accords/preludes with cable linkage all they do is move the mounting location of the shiftcable higher making a slightly shorter throw...i believe the pivot angles would only apply to cars equipped with a rod type linkage such as civic/integra...

i have the PSpec tuning short throw shifter....its awesome

it shorten the actual length of the throw but changing the monitng points of the cables, and changes the angles by changing the shapr and length of the actual shifter arm
