Kenwood Ez500 head unit
i searched, but nothing relevant came up. I am thinking about getting the Kenwood Ez500 HU. I am not able to test it locally, so I wondered how you guys think about it. Is it easy to use, is it built well, ect.

Although it is an entry level HU it is a brand name, Kenwood, so it's a pretty good unit for the price $169.95, however, etronics.com is not an authorized Kenwood dealer, so no manufactures warranty, and as long as you don't run into any problems for a year, no biggy. But if you do have any kind of problem with it starting with receiving it damaged, read this, [one of the reasons I am no fan of .com buying unless it's from a retail store that also has .com sales] http://www.etronics.com/terms.asp pray you don't have a problem with the unit, because your problems are just starting and it's going to cost you.

Well you notice too its 3 digit Kenwood (EZ 500). There are 3 digits in the model #. There are 3 digit and 4 digit Kenwood decks. The 4 digit series is only sold to their premire shops such as Tweeter for example. Places like Best Buy only carry the 3 digit. They did this to keep there premire shops with better quality products while still offering a cheaper line to the average joe.
