Can anybody help?
No, its not hard. If you look on top of the fuel filter housing there's two lines connected to it with banjo fittings. One of them will also have a smaller nut ontop of the bigger one.
1) Remove gas cap to release pressure.
2) Loosen small nut (10mm) to release any remaining pressure. There will only be a couple of drops that'll leak out, if any. If you do this before doing step one you will get gas all over your face.
3) Loosen the bolt that the smaller nut from step 2 is on. Use a good 17mm wrench, and MAKE SURE IT DOESNT SLIP OFF. You can mash this up if you're not careful.
4) Loosen the other bolt with a 17mm socket.
5) Unbolt the housing from the firewall.
This will get the fuel filter housing removed from the car. There's a 10mm nut holding the cannister to the bracket. Remove that and you're good to go.
NOTES:
1) Make sure you don't get dust or other **** into the cannister. Make sure its clean before sealing it back up.
2) When removing the fuel lines MAKE SURE YOU HOLD ONTO THE CANNISTER FIRMLY!!! You run a risk of breaking something if you just grab the wrench with both hands and pull.
