Default Timing

Hi, I just need a bit of advice diagnosing a problem. WHat do you guys think it would mean if when I check the timing with a timing light the light flashes intermitently. Some times it will blink at a regular rate but then pause for a second. I tested the light on a different car, so it works fine, and I am sure the connections are right so what do you think could be going on?

Default Re: Timing (conorm)

maybe something is going on, then off, then on, then off pause then on etc

...like a spark.

well: plug, lead, cap, rotor, ECU...in that order.

but it might just be that you are not doing it properly - esp. if your car runs ok (and you havent said that it doesnt)

t..
