idle stumble under load(a/c)
car: 95 dx coupe
motor: 94 b18b with roughly 90k miles
my car starts and idles fine, but when i turn on the a/c the idle starts stumbling about every 30-45 seconds. its actually more like it cuts out for a second.
im going to pull and clean my iacv, but i was wondering if it could be something else, as even with the a/c off im getting some part throttle hesitation while accelerating. the two things might be unrelated, but i was just trying to give all the info i could think of.
thanks in advance

TTT, I have the same problem.
dscivicdx...I know the ac unit takes a lot of voltage when operating, I wonder if it's our alternators that are going bad, maybe not supplying enough juice. Someone help us out!

Pull your ac belt off and spin your ac pulley by hand. See if it feels stiff at all or spins freely.

im not sure about the compressor though. it was from a salvage yard that my friend works for. it seems to be working ok from what i can tell. i will try and get another one and see what happens.
am i wrong for thinking it might have been the iacv? doesnt that control the idle under load?

I wouldn't swap the compressors if i were you until you know for sure that's the problem. Even if your buddy can hook you up with another comp. You'll still have to go to all the hassle of releasing your ac charge and then recharging it.
