I just took my aftermarket CD player out of the car and my stock unit requires a code.Of course I lost that stupid card they give you with the code on it.Is there a generic code that works?The service dept of the dealer here is closed and I would like to listen to music on the way to work.What are my options here,anyone ever had this situation?

 

the dealer is the only place.

 

Sometimes they stick a sticker to the center console lid...(On the bottom of it of course.)

 

That's what the local dealership did to my first car...then the other dealership didn't even install them...the stickers were in my owners manual still on their original piece of paper.

 

Pull your ashtray out and look on the bottom of that, thats where alot of codes are in the integras. Ryan

 

You guys got me thinking so I went outside and looked around for a sec.It ended up being on the side of my glove compartment.It is a small white sticker with 2 #'s on it.I entered both.The 2nd # ended up unlocking it.

 

Yeah, that code is a great theft deterrent.

 

Pretty stupid how some cars have the code in the car already. Took me 30 mins to call the dealer.

 

LOL, add one more slap to the dome for putting the radio codes inside the car in easy to find locations.

 

My stock radio code has my ITR number in it... anyone else like that?

 

That's what I meant. If they didn't leave the codes inside the car, it might actually be a good idea.
