TPS sensor removal?
I just bought an f22a6 dual plane manifold and my TPS is broken. I'm looking at it and there arnt any screws to unscrew, nor bolts, how the hell do I get this thing off?
Edit: its TPS not TPS sensor.

You'll have to drill those rivets out. I have successfully cleaned those sensors by carefully cracking off the thin layer of plastic that seals the coverplate on and flushing it out with methanol while moving the throttle plate back and forth. Just check the variable resistance with a meter to verify this worked and seal the coverplate back on with silicone.

I cant use it because the neck for the plug is broke in half, thats why I have to replace it. So I just drill those rivits out and replace with a normal pop rivit? Thats a pretty stupid design.

NO, use a small screw or bolt with a nylon insert locknut. Your going to have to set the position of this sensor with a meter and then lock it down. I think the intention of the design was to get you to buy the whole throttle body.

ummmm..... Take a flat screwdriver and a hammer. Chisel a small indent in the head of the "rivet", then use the screwdriver to spin it out.
From the factory, that's not a rivet, it's actually a bolt, but when torqued down, the head snaps off. It's the same kind of bolt that's used to bolt your ignition lock cylinder in place.
