EXTREMELY helpful...unless you have someone there to help you...if you have the spring compressor you can install it yourself...i did my springs at like 3 in the morning and it took about an hour and a half by myself...it helps A LOT

you dont need the spring compressor ... thats the easy part, remove/install the spring ... the hard part is to remove/install the suspension assembly to the chassis ... specially the rear part cuz ders not much room to work on
, but you can manage it if you know whachu doin

Lets see if I can explain this right.
When you re-assemble the suspension on your car, use the jack to hold the suspension arms up at the level of the lower shock mount. It helps when you're working by yourself. You bolt in the top mount loosely, then jack the LCA up to the level of the lower mount, thread that long *** bolt, tighten, and done.

Two people and a spring comp. will make the job 1000x easier. I wouldn't want to do it by myself, seems a little dangerous if the car is on jacks and you are dealing with a lot of potential energy. Safety first...
The car is on jackSTANDS, you are using the jack to hold the suspension arm up so you can align the bottom mounting hole.
You're right its easier with two people, but sometimes you don't have that 2nd hand and have to get creative.

of course its dangerous. so is sniffing brake fluid when you bleed it, or rolling a joint down the freeway with the top off, but people do it.
If he's willing to do it himself, more power to him. If he does it without understanding the risks involved, then less power. =P Either ways, he's just looking for pointers.
