Default EG intake in a EF without relocating battery

does anyone have a picture of an EG cold air intake in a EF with the battery still in the stock location? I tryed useing a EK short ram but the battery was in the way, but I remember seening one with a strait EG pipe going to the hole of where the old stock air box was with the battery still there.. just wondering how it could be done, and if anyone has some pics of it. thanks

It can't be done unless youre going to lay the intake right on top of the battery, or use a flexible bend that is going to be squeezed between the battery and the shock tower, or buy a small motorycycle sized battery like the Odyssey.

Just move the damn battery. I just did it like a week ago and it cost me $62 and one hour total.

Battery Box $10
13 feet of 0 gauge wire $48
Battery terminals $2
2 Eyelet connectors $2

Might as well just do it and get it over with.

Relocate the battery, mine is in the back and makes engine bay look cleaner,

well to relocate the battery into the trunk and staying safe, i would suggest a sealed battery, depending on which brand (optima, hawker, etc.) is going to run you more than $62 dollar total, but a new battery never hurt anyways. fourthgenhatch.com has a decent write up for this.

With enough money and knowledge, you can do anything.

i have seen people just buy a smaller battery and lay it on its side thus no mods needed or nothing.

yes that is very true, i tried to atempt this when i first got my crx.

now im contemplating on relocating the battery. then i can use my eg aem. at 1st i was going to bend, but now i don't knw. im going to get a EG hatch soon. so my rex might be up for sale. i don't know. but the easyiest is to relocate ur battery i guess. make shure it's safe tho. i read of some cars catching on fire because of people runing the wires bad.
