battery keeps draining and going bad
had my 1990 ef sitting for a few months here and there. I replace the battery and haven't driven it for a few months and the battery is dead. When I try to recharge it, the battery does not take a charge. I get it checked and it is a dead battery. 2wice this happened over a year or so. Now I drive the car once in a while and move it around the driveway and warm it up once in a while and the battery seems to be holding up now. was it bad kragen batteries? or short in my car creating bad batteries?

that is your problem. unless you took out the battery or at least unplugged it, the battery will slowly drain out. espiesially if it has been sitting for a few months

Same thing happens with me. Alt charges and battery is new. I rarely drive the car so I have to disconnect the battery or it will drain. Especially in winter. Just disconnect it and it will last a whole lot longer.

Re: battery keeps draining and going bad
Get a quick disconnect battery terminal and connect it to the ground cable. Disconnect it when not in use.
