Default DA owners.... question bout Swaps

i know alot of you guys would tell me to search, but im sick of tired of searching for something i cannot find... what i want to know or have up is a Sticky....

right now im debating about swapping a B16 into the DA, now b/c of the lack f torque in these cars it makes up for top end rush....
the motor up here in CANADA is $2600 inc tranny...

but for a LS/T setup it would cost alot more to withstand the power.
Bottom end built, honed and decked 400-500 CDN funds
JE Low comp pistions 640 no rings add another 150 for rings / Rods 3 bills
then your turbo accessories...

now i know Turbo would be a wicked setup... but for DA owners, what is a reliable setup that can makes these things fun to drive?????

anyone with different swaps??? B16A B18C H22A, can u please explain why u chose this setup

thanks..... i want a quick street car. not to race b/c i dont do that, but make it a TRACK CAR... which is quick and reliable!

yo guy, i have a b18a1, plenty of power and durability from factory... i have heard of plenty of people pushing descent boost on stock internals... i wouldnt push more than 8 or 10 psi tho... in rhode island alot of guys are using saab t3/t4 setups.. not bad power for the money... i myself am going to be running a t04e for some sick bost.. but im building the motor fierce... my personal opinion is find a b20 block and build a frank motor... b16 head and b20 bottom with forged rods and pistons... maybe some moly bearings . doing this would make some nutty torque and plenty of high end power. try ebay for parts and maybe a block... other than that the best bet for cheap stuff is these forums and if you can find a really good deal i would go with it.

If you plan on using it on the track from time to time, possibly consider a JDM B16A (170hp 113 tq) The B16's make awesome (and just about ALL) power in their upper rpm's. So as a track car, this would be a sweet setup. And even as a daily driver, you wouldn't be let down.
