Default Do Resonators Only Flow One Way?

I'm welding up a 22'' Magnaflow Resonator tonight. Does it only flow in one direction? Or can I weld it in to the piping either way?

I assume you are using a 10436? If so, take a flash light and look down the center. You'll see the center core is a 2 piece with a semi slip joint (male/female). Part of this protrudes slightly into the flow path. You want the inlet of the resonator to be the female side of this joint. When I sell these I usually mark the flow direction.

The 10416, 10426 and 14416 don't matter which direction they are installed.

For the outlet tubing, I knife edge the front edge so there isn't a sharp lip, call me ****.

Good one, maybe I should delete it.
