Default Advantage of using RC vs DSM injectors/Wastegate question...

Hello..
I follow these forums pretty regularly but never really posted. I've got a couple questions I keep getting conflicting answers on, wanted to see if anyone's got experience or a "real" reason for which way I should go.
I have a 99 Integra LS. Currently I'm making my own "custom" turbo kit, basically just buying all the parts individually, some of them used, cutting my own pipes, etc. For the first part of the project i'd like to boost max 7psi, then after upgrading some internals I'll go up some more, but that will be a few months down the road. Doing all the work myself. I'd like to get a wastegate with a low spring setting like 4psi and use a bc like the apexi avcr and boost to 7-8 if i need it. Some people at the tuning shops say not to, but others don't see a problem. A thread on here said that you can't reliably go more than about double the spring rate with the bc. The other issue is I'm trying to find injectors for it. Can't seem to find new RC's for cheaper than about $250 and was wondering if there are known problems/limitations to using the DSM 450cc's. One person i know through a friend who works at a shop says thats fine for a cheap way to go, but another place said no way. Reason i'm questioning them is that they seem to have "specific" brands that they insist on using. I'll agree that certain ones are better than others and you're running a risk by putting crap on the car, however they always want to sell me more expensive brand name everything, ie they insist i need an AEM ems for $1400-4000. Maybe later, but not for this setup. I'm kind of looking more for a "why" also rather than just a personal recommendation of one over the other.
Sorry for the long post, thanks for your help.
