Is there an aftermarket equivalent to a 16g?
I was doing a bit on reading on the 16g and its a very versatile turbo accoding to This I'm not selling my sc61 or anything Im just curious because I might want to build road race car in the future. but I wouldnt want to use an adaptor just to get this turbo to fit, so does pte or anyone else make something similar?
bullseye performance makes an exhaust housing for the 16g turbo, it has I think a .52 A/R and the housing has a T3 flange. Makes it nice when all you have is a T3 flange, but have a Mitsu turbo. Makes the turbo basically unviversal. You can get them with internal and external wastegate setups.

It's not a 16G compressor equivlent at all. I've used Bullseye Power turbos for my other DSM applications, and it is not the same. They still use a larger 50trim setup which can be great for road racing. They also use a P-Trim wheel which is not at all ideal for road racing in the exhaust stream.
Give me a shout, I might have another alternative

Shodan I think what he was saying was they make a differnce exhaust housing for the 16g so that it can fit on a standard t3 flange, I dont think he was saying it was a different turbo.

Um, I don't think so man. I think you have what I said a little backwards. It is only the exhaust housing, not the compressor. It fits the stock wheels and everything, it just has a T3 flange on it. Same as the Super 16G housing, but the super 16g is pretty big, like .73 or so a/r
