My Civic = totaled by Cavalier last week, would you buy a shell if....
Well atleast she was losing all kinds of fluids, dumb bitch. My car started right up, but still fucked.
So, considering that my Civic EX EJ1 has a B16, black interior, and a JDM EG6 cluster, would you buy a white on brown DX EJ2 Coupe for $300, and swap all the **** over?
The problems?
It has the Honda cancer, and mine DOES NOT.
It's a ******* DX.
It needs a driver door, just small dent.
It has the Honda cancer, and MINE DOES NOT.
Since it's a DX, I have to buy EX doors.
Since it's a DX, it has no power options, whereas mine had EVERY single one.
Since it's a DX, it has no sunroof.
Since it's a DX, it has little bitch brakes.
Since it's a DX, any power options I add from my EX has to be wired, or may not have provisions altogether

The Good:
I can swap my motor into it.
I can swap my interior into it.
I can swap my guage cluster into it.
It's $300.
The things is this. I feel like I'm gonna be downgrading, and also the headliner might be brown, which I can't remember from looking at it once. A Brown headliner, or the inability to add ALL EX options will turn me away.
As far as Honda's it's either that, find another all-power, black on black EX, and swap it, or get a 96-00 EX or HX coupe, and put my motor in it.
I do have other, Non-Honda options, 2 examples being a 98+ LS1 F-Body, or 02 WRX.

this is your hobby man, and you have all the time in the world.. 300 is a sweet deal, but if you have to walk outside to a car you don't like... i say save up until you find a car that makes you jizzims
If it's rusty, run away. Far.
I would spend extra money and travel a long way just to have a rust free shell. It's worth it.
