Default Polish/Balance Crank....

Should I polish and balance my gsr crank? if so where would be the best place to send it off too? thanks

You can find a local shop that does engine work, thats pretty standard stuff. It honestly doesnt need it unless you've damaged the journels or unless you want to rev higher than stock.

Well I dont wanna rev higher but should i just take it to a local shop and let them look and see if its damaged or needs it? Thanks

It'll be fine unless you spun a main/rod bearing or unless there are any scratches on the journels that are fingernail worthy.

Cool well when I get my motor apart I will look and see, cause I dont know the real condition of the motor I have. I bought it off a site where they say "came from a running car" so who knows. We'll see thanks alot

I sent my crank to benson and it came out great... he balances it and polishes it for 150$ just pm earl....if the crank is nto balanced correctly it can really screw up your mtoor high rpm

cool I guess since it aint an arm and a leg it should just do it to make sure. 150 aint that bad for something that can really help me.
